Job Description

A Floor Incharge, also known as a Floor Manager or Supervisor, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations on a specific floor, often within a retail, manufacturing, setting. Their duties include supervising staff, maintaining a safe and organized environment, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They play a crucial role in team collaboration, promoting efficiency, and achieving operational goals. Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and managing staff:

This includes delegating tasks, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and ensuring staff are properly trained and motivated to meet performance targets.

Maintaining a safe and organized environment:

Ensuring the floor is clean, safe, and well-organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Managing inventory and stock levels:

Monitoring stock availability, ensuring proper display, and coordinating with other departments for reordering.

Handling customer queries and complaints:

Addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Coordinating with other departments:

Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflows.

Implementing company policies and procedures:

Ensuring all staff adhere to company guidelines and regulations.

Training and development:

Onboarding new team members and providing ongoing training and coaching to improve staff performance.

Problem-solving:

Addressing any issues or challenges that may arise on the floor and finding solutions.
