Job Description

The Floor In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the two-wheeler service floor. This role ensures that all repair and maintenance work is completed efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities and technician assignments. Ensure all two-wheelers are serviced and repaired as per job card and manufacturer standards. Monitor work progress and ensure timely job completion and delivery. Conduct job card opening and closing verification with Service Advisors. Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and adherence to workshop safety protocols. Check the quality of work before vehicle delivery (final inspection coordination). Maintain discipline and cleanliness on the shop floor. Support technicians with technical guidance and troubleshooting. Monitor productivity and efficiency of the workshop team. Coordinate with the parts department for required spare parts. Report daily service progress and issues to the Service Manager. Handle customer concerns related to service quality and ensure prompt resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering or Any Degree. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a two-wheeler service workshop. Strong technical knowledge of two-wheeler maintenance and repair. Leadership and team-handling skills. Good communication and problem-solving ability. Knowledge of DMS (Dealer Management System) preferred.
