The Floor Coordinator - RCM is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the RCM floor, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining productivity, and supporting team members in achieving performance targets. This role acts as a bridge between the operations team and management, ensuring adherence to quality standards, process compliance, and timely resolution of operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Coordination:
Monitor floor activities, ensure adequate staffing, and maintain discipline and workflow throughout the shift.
Performance Management:
Track team performance metrics (productivity, quality, attendance, etc.) and provide regular feedback to associates and leadership.
Operational Support:
Assist team members in resolving process-related queries and challenges in real time to avoid workflow interruptions.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and client guidelines across all RCM functions (billing, coding, AR, payment posting, etc.).
Reporting:
Prepare and share daily/weekly performance reports and highlight key observations to management.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate with trainers or leads to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Communication:
Act as a communication link between the operations team and management, ensuring updates, escalations, and feedback are handled efficiently.
Process Improvement:
Suggest and implement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and improve overall team performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (Healthcare, Management, or related field preferred).
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in RCM operations, with at least 1 year in a coordination or supervisory role.
Skills:
Strong understanding of RCM processes (Billing, AR, Coding, Payment Posting).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and RCM tools/software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
