We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Flight Clearance Engineer

to support safe and compliant flight operations of our drone systems. This entry-level role involves ensuring that all drones meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements prior to flight. The candidate will work closely with maintenance, operations, and quality teams to ensure flight readiness for both in-house and field operations.

Responsibilities

Perform

pre-flight and post-flight inspections

to ensure drones meet flight clearance and safety standards. Verify

airworthiness and system readiness

, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and avionics aspects. Review maintenance logs, test reports, and inspection records before granting flight clearance. Assist in identifying and troubleshooting issues related to propulsion, control systems, sensors, batteries, and communication systems. Support

ground tests, functional checks, and calibration activities

prior to flight operations. Ensure compliance with

DGCA / regulatory guidelines

, company SOPs, and safety protocols. Coordinate with drone maintenance and operations teams to resolve discrepancies affecting flight clearance. Maintain accurate documentation related to flight clearance, inspections, and test activities. Participate in

field trials and on-site flight operations

as required. Report non-conformities and assist in corrective and preventive action implementation. Continuously update knowledge of drone systems, airworthiness practices, and regulatory changes.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Aeronautical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

. 0-1 year of experience (fresh graduates with relevant academic projects or internships are encouraged to apply). Basic understanding of

UAV systems, flight control systems, propulsion, and avionics

. Familiarity with

airworthiness, flight safety, and pre-flight inspection procedures

. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and test procedures. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset. Willingness to work in both

office and field environments

. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Willingness to travel to operational sites when required.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
