We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused
Flight Booking Executive
to handle domestic and international flight bookings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing travel itineraries, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements for clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle flight bookings (domestic and international) using GDS/airline portals or other booking platforms.
- Provide clients with the best travel options based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Modify, reschedule, or cancel flights as per customer requests and airline policies.
- Keep track of airline updates, fare changes, refund rules, and special deals.
- Ensure accurate documentation and itinerary details are shared with clients.
- Manage booking confirmations, e-tickets, and travel documents.
- Coordinate with airlines and travel partners for any booking-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and client interactions.
- Offer support to clients for visa, insurance, and other travel-related services (if applicable).
- Handle customer queries via phone, email, or chat in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in flight booking/customer service in the travel industry.
- Proficiency in using GDS tools such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or airline portals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of travel documentation (passport, visa, etc.) is a plus.
- Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Certification in travel systems (e.g., IATA, GDS training).
