Roles/Responsibilities:
This position provides comprehensive technical support for Miraclon's FLEXCEL Solutions to our customers, with adherence to processes defined by Miraclon's technical support playbooks. The employee provides day-to-day troubleshooting, Diagnosis & repair, technical consultation and proactive services. The individual should be very proficient in hardware used by our flexographic packaging customers, and over-time very proficient in the corresponding process and print application support.
In this role you are reporting to the Regional Technical Support Manager.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Key participant in the regional Technical Support team - title will be Flexo Solutions Engineer
Provide technical support on hardware, print application and software, via remote or onsite for regional flexographic customers.
Performs remote support via the phone and dedicated tools (as part of escalation process).
Deliver Proactive services (Preventive Maintenance and Plateroom Audit) at customer sites
Provides technical consultation to support customer innovation and drive greater business value for customers
Perform Installations and upgrades of Miraclon FLEXCEL Solutions
Critical Skill Requirements:
Self starter - highly motivated to "make it happen"
Curious and interested to learn and develop additional skills
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the flexographic prepress and printing industry
Good writing and analytical skills to summarize technical situations and path forward
Strong verbal communication
Ability to follow instructions and processes as defined in Miraclon playbooks
Ability to interact with High level support roles.
Ability to work under pressure and in an environment where multiple goals and tasks mandate planning and prioritisation
Strong customer focus and right attitude to address problems resolution in order to deliver service excellence and customer delight
Willingness to travel extensively
Required Experience:
In-depth technical knowledge of Flexographic equipment - Imagers, Laminators and processing line equipment. Ideally Kodak/Miraclon equipment and Laminators, but knowing competitor's system and relationship with flexography OEM are of advantage.
A minimum of 5 years experiences in flexographic pre-press and/or printing, or general printing service
Track record of high quality performance and results.
Experience working in a "hands-on" and "field" position with relatively little supervision.
PC skills including basic excel and Powerpoint for analysis and communication
