Job Description

Job Summary:

The Flexo Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials on various substrates, such as labels, packaging films, and cartons, according to customer specifications and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup & Operation

Prepare printing presses for production runs, including cylinder/mounting plate installation, ink mixing, and substrate loading.
Operate the flexographic press efficiently to meet production targets.
2. Quality Control

Monitor print quality throughout production and make necessary adjustments to ink density, registration, and color matching.
Conduct regular visual and instrumental checks to ensure output meets client specifications.
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the press.
Identify and resolve mechanical or printing issues promptly to reduce downtime.
4. Production Documentation

Maintain accurate production logs, material usage records, and quality control reports.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety protocols.
5. Team Collaboration

Coordinate with prepress and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Train junior operators or assistants when required.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
