PJob Summary

The Flex Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials as per production specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate flexographic printing machines (CI / Stack / Inline). Load printing plates, inks, substrates, and adjust machine settings. Ensure correct color matching, registration, and print quality. Monitor machine performance during production runs. Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting. Maintain production records and quality check reports. Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping (5S) standards. Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to resolve issues. Minimize wastage and ensure optimum machine efficiency.

Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of flexographic printing processes. Ability to read job cards, artwork, and production specifications. Understanding of inks, substrates (film, paper, foil), and plates. Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and quality consciousness. Ability to work in shifts and under production targets.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology or relevant field (preferred). Minimum

2-5 years

experience as a Flex Machine Operator (or as required). Experience in packaging / label printing industry is an advantage.
