About the Role:
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Fleet Supervisor to oversee the performance and operational discipline of operators (drivers) handling our CLEANLAND Road Sweeping Machines across India. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and field operations, and must be comfortable with extensive travel.
The Fleet Supervisor will ensure that all deployed machines are operated correctly, maintained properly, and that operators strictly follow company SOPs. The role also involves customer interaction, on-site feedback collection, and reporting back directly to our Head Office at Nadiad, Gujarat.
Key Responsibilities
1. Field Visits & Machine Audits:
Conduct surprise inspections at customer sites PAN India.
Verify that machine operators follow correct operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Inspect machines for misuse, improper handling, or maintenance gaps.
Prepare audit reports with observations, photos, and required corrective actions.
2. Operator Monitoring & Training:
Review operator performance and adherence to company SOPs.
Provide basic on-site guidance or correction to operators when necessary.
Escalate repeated violations or misuse of machines to senior management.
3. Customer Interaction & Feedback:
Interact with customers at each site to understand satisfaction levels.
Document feedback on machine performance, operator behavior, and service quality.
Communicate customer issues or suggestions to the Head Office promptly.
4. Reporting & Documentation:
Submit detailed visit reports to the Head Office in Nadiad after every field trip.
Maintain records of operator compliance, machine condition, and customer feedback.
Coordinate with the Rental, Service, and Operations teams for follow-up actions.
5. Travel & Coordination:
Travel 3-4 days per week to customer sites across India.
Plan travel routes efficiently and manage field schedules.
Represent the company professionally during all site visits.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering OR ITI in Diesel Mechanic / Fitter / similar trades.
Strong technical understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
Experience in field service, machinery supervision, or equipment operations preferred.
Good communication skills to interact with operators and customers.
Ability to prepare clear reports and follow procedures.
Physically fit and willing to travel extensively across India.
Self-disciplined, responsible, and able to work independently.
