Plan, organize, and supervise daily transport operations (pick-up/drop schedules, route management).
Ensure timely availability of buses for students, staff, and special college events.
Monitor driver performance, attendance, and discipline; conduct regular briefings on safety and conduct.
Maintain records of bus routes, fuel consumption, logbooks, and vehicle usage.
Ensure proper maintenance, servicing, and cleanliness of all college buses.
Coordinate with mechanics/garages for repairs and upkeep of vehicles.
Monitor and ensure compliance with RTO regulations, insurance, pollution control, and fitness certifications.
Handle emergencies such as bus breakdowns, accidents, or route issues.
Address grievances/complaints from students, parents, and staff regarding transport.
Submit periodic reports on transport operations to the Administrative Officer/Principal.

Good knowledge of transport operations, routes, and vehicle maintenance.
Ability to manage a team of drivers and support staff effectively.
Knowledge of traffic rules, road safety regulations, and RTO compliance.
Problem-solving ability and readiness to handle emergencies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Administration, Logistics, or equivalent (preferred).
3-5 years of experience in transport/fleet management (experience in educational institutions is an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs
