Job Summary:



The Fleet Incharge will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and coordinating all fleet operations including vehicle availability, maintenance, documentation, tracking, deployment, and compliance. The role ensures optimal fleet utilization, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:Fleet Management & Operations



Monitor and manage day-to-day fleet operations for smooth vehicle deployment. Assign vehicles to projects/sites based on operational requirements. Track fleet movement using GPS systems, maintain logs, and monitor usage. Ensure timely fuel management, consumption tracking, and record maintenance.

Maintenance & Repairs



Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for all vehicles. Coordinate with internal workshop and external service providers. Ensure timely servicing, repairs, spare parts management, and breakdown support. Maintain maintenance logs, service history, and cost reports.

Compliance & Documentation



Ensure all vehicle-related documents such as registration, insurance, permits, fitness certificates, emission tests, and road taxes are up to date. Maintain proper records of licenses, vehicle logs, inspection reports, vendor bills, and fuel usage.

Driver & Staff Coordination



Monitor driver performance, attendance, route adherence, and discipline. Arrange training on safe driving practices and operational guidelines. Ensure proper deployment of drivers based on fleet movement needs.

Cost & Budget Management



Monitor operational costs such as fuel, maintenance, tolls, and repairs. Control wastage and unauthorized use of vehicles. Prepare periodic cost and utilization reports for management review.

Safety & Compliance



Ensure compliance with safety norms, vehicle inspection standards, and company SOPs. Investigate accidents or breakdowns and submit reports with corrective action. Support safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance visits.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and transport regulations. Ability to manage multiple sites and large fleet operations. Proficiency in MS Office, GPS tracking systems, and fleet management software. Good communication, coordination, and team handling skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹313,892.55 - ₹626,246.59 per year
