Charging & Battery Management

Manage charging infrastructure (fast/slow chargers) and coordinate with public charging networks. Prepare charging rosters to minimize downtime and maximize utilization. Monitor State of Charge (SOC), battery health, and charging cycles using telematics. Implement best practices to extend battery life (avoid deep discharge/overcharging).

Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep

Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for EVs, including tyres, brakes, and software updates. Maintain service records, breakdown logs, and battery replacement history. Coordinate with OEMs and external workshops for EV-specific repairs. Ensure vehicles remain clean, roadworthy, and customer-ready.

Monitor driver performance through GPS/telematics. Conduct refresher training on EV-specific emergencies (battery overheating, roadside charging).

Compliance & Documentation

Maintain all EV-related documents: insurance, permits, road tax exemptions, and PUC. Track and renew warranty, AMC, and OEM service agreements. Ensure compliance with EV safety and charging regulations.

Cost & Reporting

Track and control operating costs: charging, maintenance, battery replacement, and downtime. Compare Cost per Kilometer (CPK) of EVs vs ICE vehicles to measure efficiency. Generate MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly) covering fleet utilization, charging downtime, costs, and battery performance. Recommend strategies for cost savings and fleet optimization.

Incident & Risk Management

Implement SOPs for EV breakdowns, towing, and roadside charging support. Oversee accident/incident reporting and insurance claims. Maintain EV-specific fire safety and emergency protocols.
