Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning in English language and literature. Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives. Instruct students in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing composition, and literary analysis. Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and class participation. Provide feedback to students and communicate progress to parents and school administrators. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events. Prepare students for standardized tests and examinations, as applicable. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid teaching certification/license (if required by region or school). Previous teaching experience at the [elementary/middle/high school/college] level preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Passion for literature, language, and student development.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with digital learning tools and educational technology. Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds. Familiarity with state or national education standards and assessments. ESL/ELL certification or experience (if applicable).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
