: Fixture Production Lead

Experience:

5 - 8 years of relevant experience in fixture or furniture production, retail fit-out manufacturing, or prototype management.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Fixture Production Lead to drive the development, production, and quality execution of custom fixtures for retail environments.

Key responsibilities:

Prototype Development:

Develop prototypes based on 3D designs approved by clients, ensuring alignment with design specifications and client expectations.

Drawing Review and Modification:

Review and suggest necessary changes to supplier drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility of production.

Costing and Pricing Strategy:

Create a detailed costing framework for prototypes and suggest cost reduction strategies or specification adjustments to meet budgetary requirements.

Production Planning and Oversight:

Collaborate with vendors to develop production plans, overseeing the entire production process to ensure adherence to timelines and specifications.

Quality Control Management:

Implement comprehensive quality control measures throughout the production process, from initial input to final output, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Develop and maintain a Quality Control (QC) plan that outlines inspection criteria, standards, and procedures.

Production Timelines and Packaging

: Establish production timelines, monitor progress, and develop packaging guidelines that protect the product and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Industrial/Product Design, Engineering, Furniture Design, or related technical field. Strong understanding of the English Language. Deep understanding of fixture fabrication processes across materials -- wood, metal, glass, acrylic, etc. Proven experience working with fabricators and managing multiple production vendors. Strong technical aptitude -- able to interpret and review shop drawings, technical details, and BOQs. Proficient in MS Excel, basic CAD tools, and production planning tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to manage concurrent production schedules across locations.
