Job Description
Position : Fixed Income Trader
Job Location : Ghana
Job responsibilities:
1. To manage sales portfolio consisting of G-Secs and T-Bills
2. To execute trades across fixed income securities
3. Relationship management across market participants for better price execution
4. To keep looking for trading opportunities as per available market positions
5. New business development and garnering additional wallet share from existing clients
6. Portfolio and Market analysis along with sharing daily commentary with clients
7. Monitoring of market trends, economic news and price movement for effective advisory
Requirements:
1. Enthusiasm for the fixed income market and SEC certification is a must
2. Experience of minimum 5 years in Fixed Income/ Foreign exchange trading preferably from the
banking or broking industry
3. Well versed with Fixed Income products
4. Thorough understanding of the regulatory expectations around Fixed Income trading
5. Problem solving attitude
6. Flexibility to operate in the start-up ecosystem
