Requirements
We are seeking a driven and experienced Fixed Deposit (FD) Sales Executive to join our growing team in the financial services space. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in selling Fixed Deposit products to retail and/or corporate clients and a strong understanding of the banking and NBFC ecosystem. The role requires a proactive professional with excellent interpersonal skills, deep product knowledge, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets in the investment product segment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new prospects through cold calls, references, digital platforms, and walk-ins to promote fixed deposit products. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent monthly conversion rates. * Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Onboard new clients by pitching appropriate fixed deposit products tailored to their investment needs. Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and cross-sell opportunities. * Product Expertise & Consultation:
Provide clients with clear and accurate information regarding interest rates, tenure, liquidity, and benefits of various FD schemes offered by banks and NBFCs. Stay updated on all new product launches, policy changes, and competitive offerings in the market. * Target Achievement:
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and maintaining discipline in follow-ups and client engagement. * Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all client onboarding, KYC, and investment documentation are processed smoothly and in line with regulatory and compliance standards. Work with internal operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of investments. * Market Research & Reporting:
Monitor FD rate trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to identify areas of improvement. Prepare and submit periodic sales reports and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Fixed Deposit sales, preferably with a Bank, NBFC, or Investment firm.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and retail FD products, interest rate dynamics, and financial services regulations.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to build trust and influence client decisions.
  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets, maintaining client databases, and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple client interactions efficiently.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in investment sales, wealth management, or financial planning will be an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of the BFSI landscape, with a strong professional network in the investment ecosystem.
