Job Description

Position: Fixed Asset Verification Executive

Department: Audit / Asset Management

Location: As per assignment / Client sites

Experience: 1-4 years (preferred)

Role & Responsibilities:

Conduct physical verification of fixed assets at client locations as per audit scope.

Match physical assets with Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and identify variances.

Tag assets (barcoding / labeling) and ensure proper identification.

Verify asset details such as description, location, serial number, quantity, and condition.

Identify and report missing, idle, obsolete, damaged, or unrecorded assets.

Prepare asset verification reports, reconciliation statements, and supporting working papers.

Coordinate with client personnel during verification activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies, audit standards, and timelines.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in data handling.

Support seniors/managers during audits and special assignments.

Skills & Competencies:

Good understanding of fixed assets accounting and FAR.

Basic knowledge of audit procedures.

Attention to detail and strong observational skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel / MS Word.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willingness to travel extensively, if required.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance / Management

(B.Com preferred)

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
