Fitter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Fitter to assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and various mechanical components. The candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical tools and a strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Assemble and fit mechanical parts, components, and sub-assemblies. Install, align, and test machinery or equipment. Perform maintenance and repair work on machines and mechanical systems. Ensure all work is carried out as per safety standards and company policies. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively. Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning and quality standards. Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members.

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Fitter/Mechanical trade or equivalent qualification. Proven work experience as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical role. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Knowledge of welding, drilling, grinding, and other fabrication processes. Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy tools and equipment. Basic knowledge of safety rules and procedures.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in industrial machinery assembly and maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to work independently and in a team.

Pay: ₹7,500.00 - ₹8,500.00 per month
