Assemble and fit hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, fittings, and power packs.
Install hydraulic pipelines, tubing, and hose connections as per drawings and work instructions.
Perform leak testing, pressure testing, and basic functional checks.
Assist in troubleshooting and rectifying hydraulic faults and fitting issues.
Read and follow engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and SOPs.
Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
Support maintenance and breakdown activities when required.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of
hydraulic systems, components, and fittings
.
Ability to read simple drawings and hydraulic diagrams.
Familiarity with tools such as spanners, torque wrenches, pipe benders, and measuring instruments.
Understanding of leak prevention, sealing methods, and hose/tube connections.
Willingness to work on the shop floor and at sites if required.
