Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Mechanical Fitter

to assemble, fit, and install metal parts and sub-assemblies. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using hand tools and power tools to ensure that all components fit together perfectly according to engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly:

Fitting and assembling metal parts using screws, bolts, and welding.

Marking & Measuring:

Marking dimensions on metal components using scribers and dividers before cutting.

Hand Tools:

Skilled use of hand tools like files, hacksaws, chisels, and grinding machines.

Blueprint Reading:

Reading and interpreting

Technical Drawings

and layouts.

Finishing:

Filing, grinding, and smoothing edges to ensure high-quality finishing of parts.

Maintenance:

Repairing and overhauling machinery and equipment as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education:

ITI in Fitter Trade (Mandatory).

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a mechanical workshop or manufacturing plant.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of

drilling, tapping, and threading

.

Precision:

Ability to use measuring tools like

Vernier Calipers

and

Bevel Protractors

.
