We are looking for an experienced

Millwright Fitter

to carry out maintenance, and repair activities in the

Ash Handling System

of a thermal power plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, minimizing breakdowns, and maintaining plant equipment in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, alignment, and repair of mechanical equipment in the Ash Handling Plant. Carry out dismantling, overhauling, and reassembly of pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotary equipment. Inspect mechanical components and identify wear, damage, or potential failures. Maintain proper housekeeping and follow all safety procedures during maintenance activities. Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance planning and execution. Coordinate with supervisors and control room for smooth plant operation.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Fitter trade. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in Ash Handling Systems of thermal power plants. Good understanding of mechanical drawings, tools, and equipment alignment techniques. Knowledge of safety standards and plant maintenance practices.
