The Assembly Fitter is responsible for assembling mechanical or electrical components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure accurate and safe assembly of products.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret
engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Assemble parts and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools
Ensure components are fitted correctly, aligned, and secured
Perform basic testing and inspection of assembled products
Identify and report faults, defects, or missing parts
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow
health, safety, and quality procedures
Meet production targets and deadlines
Work closely with supervisors and team members

Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to follow instructions and work drawings
