Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical maintenance of machines, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks and servicing. Attend to breakdowns promptly to minimize machine downtime. Carry out installation, alignment, and overhauling of mechanical components. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintenance SOPs. Maintain maintenance logs and report issues to the supervisor.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and equipment manuals Hands-on experience in maintenance and fitting work Good understanding of bearings, shaft alignment, and lubrication systems Ability to use hand tools, welding, gas cutting (if required) Awareness of safety standards and plant operating procedures Problem-solving and teamwork skills
