Key Responsibilities

A. Manufacturing & Assembly Responsibilities

Assemble

Cooling Tower components

, including: Structural members (FRP / Steel / RCC) Fan stacks, impellers, gearboxes, motors Fill media, drift eliminators, louvers Water distribution systems and nozzles Assemble

HVLS Fan components

, including: Hub and blade assemblies Motors (PM / Induction) Blade retainers and safety cables Mechanical mounting brackets Interpret

engineering drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions

. Perform accurate

mechanical alignment, leveling, and torque tightening

. Conduct pre-dispatch inspection and trial assembly where required.

B. Installation & Commissioning

Install Cooling Towers and HVLS Fans at customer sites as per approved drawings. Carry out: Structure leveling and anchoring Grouting and alignment Safe lifting and rigging operations Assist in commissioning activities including: Trial runs and functional checks Vibration, noise, and airflow verification Fan rotation and motor performance checks Coordinate with electrical teams for power connections and control panels.

C. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance. Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues such as: Vibration and imbalance Bearing, belt, coupling, or blade issues Leakage and structural looseness Replace worn or damaged components for both Cooling Towers and HVLS Fans. Support breakdown maintenance and emergency service calls.

D. Quality, Safety & Compliance

Follow

ISO, QA/QC, and internal quality procedures

. Ensure compliance with

EHS, PPE, and working-at-height safety norms

. Maintain proper housekeeping at factory and site locations. Participate in safety toolbox talks and audits.

E. Documentation & Coordination

Maintain daily work records, installation reports, and service checklists. Support

FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)

and

SAT (Site Acceptance Test)

. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, quality inspectors, and site representatives. Assist in training customers on basic operation and maintenance practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings Knowledge of rotating machinery and alignment techniques Familiarity with Cooling Tower and HVLS Fan components Basic understanding of electrical safety Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability Teamwork and communication skills

Educational Qualification & Experience

1-2 years

of relevant experience in: Cooling Tower manufacturing/installation

and/or

HVLS fan or industrial fan installation Experience working at heights and industrial project sites preferred

Physical & Work Conditions

Physically fit for manual handling and lifting tasks Comfortable working at heights (10-30 meters) Willingness to travel and stay at project sites Ability to work in industrial and outdoor environments
