Job Description

To perform mechanical maintenance, fitting, and assembly of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations in the production and utility areas, while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly of machines and plant equipment. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment. Assist in the installation, dismantling, and shifting of machines as required. Ensure proper lubrication, tightening, and condition monitoring of mechanical components. Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts used. Follow SOPs, maintenance schedules, and GMP documentation requirements. Coordinate with the engineering team to minimize equipment downtime. Adhere to all safety protocols during maintenance work. Support audits and validations by ensuring equipment readiness and documentation compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

ITI / NCVT in Fitter Trade 1-3 years of experience as a Fitter in a

pharmaceutical or manufacturing plant

Good knowledge of mechanical equipment such as mixers, blenders, reactors, pumps, etc. Familiarity with GMP documentation and safety procedures Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent maintenance calls
