Job Type: Full-Time

Position: FITTER

Education: ITI with FITTER

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in FITTER

Preferred: Experience in machine manufacturing or engineering manufacturing

assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery, as well as fabricating and fitting components. They ensure the smooth operation of equipment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to safety protocols.

Assembly and Installation:

Fitters assemble machines according to design specifications and blueprints, utilizing various tools and equipment.

Component Fabrication:

They may perform tasks like gas cutting, welding, riveting, and bolting to prepare and assemble machine parts.

Maintenance and Repair:

Fitters conduct routine maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical issues, and ensure equipment functions efficiently and safely.

Quality Control:

They inspect fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and are the correct size and dimensions.

Safety Compliance:

Adhering to safety protocols and company policies is crucial, especially when working with machinery and tools.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

Fitters identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with other teams to optimize equipment performance.

Reading Technical Drawings:

A key skill is the ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to understand the specifications of the machinery.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections is often part of the job.
