Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fitting and assembly of furnace components, structures, and accessories according to drawings and work instructions. Accurately mark, cut, drill, and align parts using hand tools, grinders, cutting machines, and welding equipment. Assist in trial assembly of furnace body, shell, doors, burners, and refractory support frames. Fit and fix ducts, oil/gas lines, burner nozzles, and other mechanical fittings as required. Coordinate with welders and other fabrication personnel to complete joint fitting tasks. Ensure all mechanical clearances, tolerances, and alignments are within specified limits. Maintain tools, workstations, and follow workplace safety standards. Support the team during in-house furnace testing and trial runs. Participate in erection and installation work at customer sites when required. Report any dimensional mismatches, defects, or fitting issues to the supervisor.
