Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Assemble and fit mechanical parts and structures using appropriate tools. Install, maintain, and repair machines and equipment in workshop or site settings. Mark, cut, and drill metal components to precise measurements. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance. Detect faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Operate hand tools, grinders, drill machines, and other workshop equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians. Follow all safety and operational procedures.

Requirements:

ITI or equivalent certification in Fitter trade. Previous experience in mechanical fitting or fabrication is an advantage. Good understanding of mechanical systems and tools. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical fitness to lift and move heavy objects. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
