Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Lathe Operator cum Turner

to operate conventional/manual lathe machines and produce precision components based on technical drawings. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with turning operations and a good understanding of machining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate lathe machines to perform turning, facing, drilling, boring, and threading operations. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Set up tools, workpieces, and machine parts for machining processes. Inspect finished products using measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges. Maintain machines and tools in good working condition. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor. Maintain production logs and records accurately.

Key Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Turner, Fitter, Machinist, or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in lathe operation and turning work. Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring tools. Good knowledge of metal types and cutting speeds. Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment. Team player with attention to detail.
