Job Description

Responsibilities

Diagnose faults and perform operational maintenance of machines Ensure accuracy and functionality of assembled components Read drawings and specifications to determine suitable materials, sequence of operations, and machine settings Set up prescribed cutting and shape tools in machines and equipment Check assembled metal parts for accuracy and fit using measuring instruments Set up guides, stops, and other controls on numerous machining tools

Requirements

High attention to detail and precision in machining tasks Ability to work individually with minimal supervision and in a team environment Experience in assembling and installing mechanical components Interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience in using machining tools and equipment Qualifications in trade or any other related qualifications

Working Conditions

Occasionally stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects Exposure to a noisy environment Safety equipment must be worn at all times, and adherence to safety protocols is crucial Work in manufacturing plants, workshops, or industrial settings.
