Job Description

Reading and interpreting technical drawings:

Understanding blueprints, specifications, and maintenance manuals to guide assembly and installation.

Assembling and fitting components:

Using hand and power tools to precisely fit and align parts, ensuring proper clearances and tolerances.

Fabricating parts:

Cutting, shaping, and preparing materials for assembly, often using welding and cutting equipment.

Maintaining and repairing equipment:

Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing or replacing damaged parts.

Following safety procedures:

Adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines when working with machinery and tools.

Inspecting and verifying:

Ensuring that components and completed assemblies meet quality standards and specifications.

Operating machinery and tools:

Proficiently using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as potentially operating welding and cutting equipment.

Collaborating with teams:

Working with engineers, production staff, and other technicians to ensure smooth operations and efficient problem resolution.

Record keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
