We are seeking an experienced

Firmware Lead Engineer

to own firmware architecture and provide strong technical leadership for embedded and Linux-based systems. The role requires hands-on expertise in

C/C++

,

embedded Linux

, and

RTOS environments

, along with experience in

system-level integration, debugging, and performance optimization

.

The ideal candidate will lead firmware development activities, mentor engineers, and work closely with hardware and platform teams to deliver reliable and scalable embedded solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Own

firmware architecture

and provide technical leadership across projects. Develop and maintain

embedded firmware

using

C/C++

on Linux and RTOS platforms. Work on

embedded Linux

, including kernel configuration, device drivers, and system integration. Support

board bring-up

and hardware-software integration activities. Work with

Yocto build systems

for embedded Linux platforms. Lead

GPU bring-up and integration

on platforms such as

NVIDIA Jetson

, including CUDA stack and drivers. Perform

system-level debugging

using logs, traces, networking tools, and hardware signals. Define and implement

interfaces, communication protocols, and system workflows

. Work with

containers (Docker / OCI)

and edge computing platforms. Conduct

code reviews

, mentor junior engineers, and enforce firmware best practices. Ensure

performance optimization, reliability, and security alignment

of firmware components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, platform, and validation teams.

Mandatory Skills

Strong experience in

Embedded Systems firmware development

Hands-on expertise in

C and C++

Experience with

Embedded Linux

and

RTOS environments

(e.g., VxWorks) Solid understanding of

RTOS concepts

Experience as a

Senior / Lead Firmware Engineer

Desirable Skills

Linux kernel and

device driver development

Yocto

build system experience GPU platforms such as

NVIDIA Jetson

CUDA stack

and GPU driver integration Linux device drivers and system bring-up experience
