We're Hiring: Firmware Lead | Bangalore, India | Work From Office (WFO) | 6-7 Years Experience

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Firmware Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality embedded firmware solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and optimization of firmware for embedded systems.

-Mentor and guide a team of firmware engineers to drive innovation and quality.

-Develop and maintain firmware architecture using C/C++.

- Collaborate with hardware teams to define interface specifications and ensure seamless integration.

-Conduct code reviews, validation, and verification to maintain engineering excellence.

- Investigate and debug firmware issues to enhance performance and stability.

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

- Stay updated with emerging embedded technologies and recommend improvements.

- Ensure development aligns with organizational processes, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).

- 6-7 years of hands-on firmware development experience.

- Proven leadership experience in managing firmware teams or leading major firmware-driven projects.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with assembly programming.

- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, peripherals, and embedded systems fundamentals.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with RTOS.

- Knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, or other wireless protocols.

-Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hardware debugging tools.

- Familiarity with safety/compliance standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
