Roles & responsibilities-:

1:. Design and develop embedded software/firmware for 8, 16, and 32 bit microcontrollers
(using C, C++ language). . Develop closed-loop digital and analog control systems for an
industrial environment, including microcontroller-based instrumentation and motor controls. .
Test and debug firmware on various hardware platforms.
2:. Work with hardware engineers and supply chain to select hardware components and
preferred vendors. . Create PC-based software tools for product testing, updating or
configuration. . Tracks and maintain firmware code in repository using ECN revision control
processes. . Support research and development efforts relating to inductive, magnetoresistive,
capacitive, optical sensor technologies.
3:. Support product connectivity over industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, I/O
Link, etc. . Document source code, product features and functionality in written English. .
Works with hardware team to create electrical design requirements and assists with
schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical specifications.
4:. Cooperates with Applications Engineering in resolving quality and production issues
globally. May evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability. .
Supports the mechanical and electrical design of new products and enhancements relating to
linear, rotary, parallel motion. Products include but not limited to servo-based electric
grippers, indexers, rotaries and end-of-arm robotic tooling.
5:. Communicates with vendors and global teams to facilitate and resolve project issues. .
Generates project status reports comparing project schedule, budget and objectives. . Keeps
informed of industry trends that may lead to new product offerings and future projects.

Skills required-:

CTQ 1. Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in AC/DC servo motor firmware control development field for rotary and linear
motion. Experience in robotics and network interface design a plus. . Proficiency debugging embedded software systems:
familiarity with jTAG, oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.
CTQ 2. Proficient in C, C++ programming and follow test driven development (TDD) model. . Working knowledge of robotics, linear
devices, servo drives, grippers, and rotary devices. . Basic working knowledge of motor drive circuitry, PLC programming, and
IOT requirements.
CTQ 3 . Experience with industrial control systems and industrial networking (Ethernet/CAN/ProfiNet) is highly desirable. . Electromechanical
experience in a robotic actuators or related field a plus.
CTQ 4. Results and detail oriented, solution driven to meet project deadlines. . High energy, strong interpersonal skills, prefers to work
in team entrepreneurial environment. . Passion for hands-on involvement with strong initiative and exceed project goals. . Strong
analytical thinker, ability to make decisions and problem solve based on data. . Adapts to market trend changes with desire to
learn new technology and methods. . Good communication skills including facilitating meetings, verbal, and written skills. .
Ability to work in multi-cultural virtual teams maintaining significant involvement and team interaction. . Able to execute tasks
independently with daily or weekly direction from manager.
