Job Description

Responding to emergencies like fires, accidents, and medical crises, extinguishing fires, performing rescues, providing emergency medical care (EMT duties), maintaining equipment and stations, conducting fire safety inspections, and leading training/drills to protect life and property. Key responsibilities include fire suppression, vehicle maintenance, hazard mitigation (like chemical spills), public education, and collaborating with other emergency services, often under a shift system. Core Responsibilities

Emergency Response:

Responding to fire alarms, medical emergencies, hazardous material spills, and other disasters.

Fire Suppression:

Deploying hoses, ventilating roofs, rescuing people, and combating fires.

Rescue Operations:

Executing rescues from fires, car crashes, collapsed buildings, and water incidents.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS):

Providing first aid and advanced life support until ambulance arrival.

Equipment Maintenance:

Inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire appliances, tools, and the station itself.

Fire Prevention:

Conducting building inspections, enforcing codes, and educating the public on fire safety.

Training & Drills:

Participating in regular physical and academic training, plus drills to maintain skills.
Key Skills & Duties

Operating pumps, ladders, and various tools. Performing property surveys and hazard mitigation. Collaborating with police and ambulance services. Completing reports and maintaining technical knowledge.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month
