Job Description

Experience : 1-3 Job Location : Halol Department : Safety Qualification : Fireman training certification

Key Responsibilities:

+ Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency calls within the premises. + Operate and maintain fire-fighting vehicles, hoses, hydrants, extinguishers, and other fire safety equipment.
+ Conduct routine inspections of fire safety systems and ensure readiness at all times.
+ Assist in fire drills, evacuation drills, and mock emergency response exercises.
+ Identify fire hazards and report unsafe conditions to the Safety Officer.
+ Perform first aid or CPR in emergency situations, if required.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company fire policies, and statutory requirements.
+ Support the maintenance team in safely handling flammable materials and gases.
+ Participate in training and skill enhancement sessions related to fire safety and emergency response.
Keep accurate records of incidents, equipment maintenance, and daily logs.

Qualifications and Skills:

+ Minimum 10th pass (SSC/Matriculation); higher qualifications preferred. + Fireman training certification from a recognized institute (e.g., State Fire Training Academy).
+ Minimum 1-3 years of experience in fire-fighting, preferably in an industrial or engineering environment.
+ Knowledge of fire-fighting equipment, industrial safety practices, and hazardous materials handling.
+ Physically fit and capable of working in high-risk environments.
+ Ability to remain calm under pressure and act swiftly in emergencies.

Preferred Attributes:

+ Team player with good communication skills. + Familiarity with ISO standards and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols.
+ Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call duty during emergencies.
