Skill and job duties as follows

Oversee and coordinate fire safety operations, including fire prevention, fire response, and emergency medical services. Develop, implement and maintain fire safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Supervise and evaluate the performance of firefighters, paramedics and other emergency personnel. Provide training and development opportunities to improve the skills and knowledge of emergency personnel. Communicate with other departments, agencies and the public to coordinate fire safety and emergency medical services. Develop and manage a budget for fire safety operations, equipment and supplies. Investigate fires to determine their cause and make recommendations for fire prevention. Provide leadership and direction during emergency response operations.
