Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Fire & Safety Officer

to ensure compliance with fire prevention and occupational health & safety regulations. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and enforce fire and safety regulations on-site Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits Ensure proper installation and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment Conduct fire drills, safety training, and toolbox talks Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports Ensure compliance with local safety laws and company HSE policies Coordinate with emergency response teams when required Maintain safety documentation and records

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Fire & Safety / Occupational Health & Safety Valid Fire & Safety certification Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of fire prevention systems and safety standards Ability to work independently and under pressure Good communication and reporting skills
