Job Summary

Fire Officer is responsible for the management of security systems within the Hospital premises and Hospital properties.

3.1.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3.4.1. Thorough checking of Fixed Fire Equipment in the entire hospital and inform any discrepancy to the CSO and GM-Security for rectification/ Repairs if required.

Hose Reels /Hose Pipes for leakage

Water Sprinklers

Fire Extinguishers

3.4.2. Thorough checking of Alerting Systems in the entire hospital and inform any discrepancy to the CSO and GM-Security for rectification/ Repairs if required.

Smoke Detectors

Fire Alarm Control Panels

Hooters

MCPs

3.4.3. Identify the Fire prone areas and take adequate measures to avoid Fire incident.

3.4.4. Check all the Fire exit doors/Ramps are clear from any obstruction.

3.4.5. Ensure all the Buckets placed in Fire prone areas are filled with Dry sand.

3.4.6. Daily check of the below items for proper functioning and capacity.

Hydrant Pump

Fire DG

Booster pump

3.4.7. Water sump for accurate level of 1.6 Lakhs in cellar.

3.4.8. Water Level of Fire Tank at terrace should be 20 KL.

3.4.9. Conduct Fire training sessions to the Nursing/General and Security staff regularly and maintain proper documentation.

3.4.10. Checking of Hot work permission and providing safety measures at the place of work.

3.4.11. Ensure Periodic Maintenance Records are maintained properly.

3.4.12. Maintaining of Stock Register.

3.4.13. On Daily basis ensure availability of Fire balls placed in the floors.

3.4.14. To conduct fire theory classes to Yashoda Staff and explain them about code Grey, preventive actions etc.

3.4.15. To maintain and update all the records pertaining to the fire department on regular basis and submit daily rounding report to CSO/GM for further escalation and rectification if any.

3.4.16. To assist the Fire officials during surprise visit and ensure No complaints in regard to the Fire equipment operations.

3.4.17. To conduct fire mock drills every quarterly as per the standards of NABH protocol.

3.5.

Skills required:

Leadership skill, good communication skill, knowledge about the Fire safety precautions and risk involved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Malakpet, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

20years: 10 years (Preferred)
Language:

English, Hindi, Telugu (Preferred)
