Job Title: Fire and Safety Officer / Safety Supervisor / HSE Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Fire and Safety Officer

to oversee and implement safety policies, procedures, and practices across our operations to ensure the well-being of all employees, assets, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce fire and safety regulations across the site or facility. Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety audits. Develop and implement fire safety plans, emergency response plans, and evacuation procedures. Ensure compliance with national safety regulations and codes (e.g., OSHA, NFPA). Conduct fire drills, safety training, and toolbox talks for staff and contractors. Inspect fire safety equipment (extinguishers, alarms, sprinkler systems) and ensure regular maintenance. Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports with corrective action plans. Monitor workplace conditions to identify hazards and recommend safety improvements. Maintain records of inspections, training, and incidents. Liaise with fire departments and emergency services during drills or actual emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (preferred). Proven experience (2+ years) in industrial, construction, or facility safety management. Knowledge of local fire codes, emergency response protocols, and HSE regulations. Strong communication and training skills. Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Preferred Experience Areas:

Construction, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure sectors. Experience with firefighting equipment and emergency evacuation planning. Risk assessment and safety auditing experience.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per month
