We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fire & Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring fire safety protocols across company locations. This role involves frequent branch visits to ensure compliance with fire safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and drive awareness of safety practices within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Fire Safety SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and company-wide Fire Policies.
Conduct fire safety audits and risk assessments at branches and office locations.
Monitor the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, and emergency systems.
Conduct regular fire drills, evacuation training, and safety awareness sessions for staff.
Investigate fire incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
Coordinate with local fire departments and ensure statutory compliance with all fire safety regulations.
Maintain records related to fire safety equipment inspections, certifications, and staff training.
Travel to various branches to conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with internal and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Diploma in Fire & Safety or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
2-3 years of relevant
experience in Fire & Safety operations, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or large multi-location environments.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to train and create awareness among staff.
Proficient in documentation, record-keeping, and safety audits.
Willingness to travel frequently for site and branch visits.
Employment Type
: Full-Time (Hybrid - Field & Office-based)
Compensation
: ₹20,000 - ?25,000 per month (based on experience and qualification)
