The

Fire & Safety Officer

is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment by implementing and monitoring fire prevention, protection, and safety measures at the site. The role involves conducting regular safety inspections, maintaining fire safety equipment, training staff and residents on emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations. The incumbent plays a key role in minimizing risk, preventing accidents, and promoting a strong safety culture within the premises.

About the Role:



Implement and maintain all fire safety and occupational health & safety protocols as per statutory norms and company policies.


Conduct regular inspections of fire alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, sprinkler systems, emergency exits, and other safety equipment to ensure functionality.


Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.


Conduct fire drills, evacuation drills, and safety awareness programs for staff, residents, and vendors.


Ensure compliance with local fire department regulations and maintain up-to-date fire NOC (No Objection Certificate) and related statutory documentation.


Monitor contractor and maintenance activities to ensure adherence to safety standards during site work.


Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and suggest preventive measures.


Maintain records of all safety inspections, training sessions, and equipment servicing.


Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services in case of fire or other safety-related incidents.


Continuously review and improve the site's emergency response plan and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
