Job Summary:
The Graduate Fire & Safety Engineer will assist in the planning, execution, inspection, and maintenance of fire protection and life safety systems. The role involves supporting site execution, ensuring compliance with statutory fire norms, coordinating with internal teams and authorities, and maintaining safety standards across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in
design review, installation, testing, and commissioning
of fire fighting and fire alarm systems (sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, detectors, panels, etc.).
Support preparation of
fire safety drawings, layouts, and schematics
as per NBC and local fire authority guidelines.
Coordinate with
site engineers, contractors, and vendors
for smooth execution of fire safety works.
Conduct
site inspections, testing, and quality checks
to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Assist in
fire NOC documentation
, inspections, and coordination with the Fire Department.
Ensure adherence to
safety standards, statutory regulations, and company SOPs
.
Maintain records related to testing, commissioning, material approvals, and site reports.
Support
operation & maintenance (O&M)
activities where required.
Identify safety risks at site and report observations to senior engineers.
Skills & Competencies:
Basic knowledge of
fire fighting systems, fire alarm systems, and life safety norms
Understanding of
NBC, IS codes
, and local fire safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings
Good communication and coordination skills
