Position: Fire Protection EngineerOverview

The Fire Protection Engineer will play a key role in designing, reviewing, and supporting fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, and residential clients. This person ensures compliance with BC Fire Code, NFPA standards, and local municipal regulations while supporting Masters Fire & Safety's inspection, installation, and service teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Technical Work

Design, review, and stamp fire protection system drawings (fire alarms, sprinklers, special hazards, suppression systems). Perform hydraulic calculations, system sizing, and code analysis. Develop engineering reports, technical documentation, and compliance assessments. Review existing systems and recommend upgrades or corrective actions.

Field Support

Support technicians during inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems. Conduct site visits to evaluate system performance and ensure code compliance. Provide engineering guidance for installations, retrofits, and repairs.

Code & Compliance

Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, BC Building Code, BC Fire Code, and municipal bylaws. Prepare documentation for permits, AHJ submissions, and regulatory approvals. Stay current with evolving fire protection regulations and technologies.

Client & Project Management

Communicate technical information clearly to clients, contractors, and internal teams. Assist with project planning, estimating, and scope development. Provide expert recommendations to improve safety and system reliability.

Pay: ₹25,673.16 - ₹41,215.91 per month
