Job Opportunity: Fire Supervisor / Fire Officer We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire Supervisor / Fire Officer to join our team in Dahej, Bharuch (Gujarat). This role is critical for maintaining safety standards and emergency response readiness within a chemical industry environment. Position Overview ? Role: Fire Supervisor / Fire Officer ? Location: Dahej, Bharuch, Gujarat ? Industry: Chemical / Manufacturing Requirements & Qualifications ? Education: Minimum Sub Officer Course or Fire Diploma from a recognized Institute/Board. ? Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience specifically in the chemical industry. ? License: Must possess a valid HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicle) driving license. ? Skills: Basic computer proficiency (MS Office). o Strong communication skills in English and the Local Language. o Leadership skills to maintain discipline and decorum among fire personnel. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations: Handle shift activities, maintain daily logbooks, and write incident/accident reports. 2. Inspections: Perform regular fire safety inspections and investigate/report the causes of fire occurrences. 3. Permit Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety permit procedures and requirements. 4. Maintenance: Plan and supervise maintenance for fixed firefighting installations (hydrants, monitors, hose reels, etc.) and mobile equipment. 5. Emergency Response: Drive Fire Tenders when required; make critical decisions during emergencies in line with the NFASL emergency plan. 6. Training: Conduct routine practical and theoretical training (Hose/Ladder/Pump drills, SCBA donning, etc.) for staff and contract members. 7. Equipment Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of rescue equipment and fixed/mobile firefighting systems.
