We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Fire Hydrant Pre-Sales Executive to support our sales team and clients in providing expert guidance on fire hydrant systems and related fire protection products. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customer requirements and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Consultation: Assist the sales team by providing in-depth technical knowledge of fire hydrant systems, valves, pumps, fittings, and accessories.
Client Engagement: Attend client meetings to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate fire hydrant solutions.
Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver technical proposals, BOQs, and compliance statements based on project specifications and tender documents.
Product Demonstration: Conduct product demos, site surveys, and presentations to potential clients, consultants, and contractors.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure proposed solutions comply with national and international fire safety standards (e.g., NFPA, BIS, IS codes).
Support During Bidding: Assist in technical documentation, drawing reviews, and pre-bid queries for fire hydrant-related tenders.
Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (design, engineering, procurement) to develop accurate and feasible solutions.
Training: Train clients, partners, and internal sales teams on fire hydrant systems and their proper usage and maintenance.
Market Feedback: Gather customer feedback and relay product improvement suggestions to the product development team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Fire & Safety Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical support in the fire safety industry, especially with fire hydrant systems.
Strong understanding of fire protection system design and installation requirements.
Familiarity with local fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and CRM tools.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and other fire protection systems.
Experience working with contractors, consultants, and EPC companies.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
