Position:

Fire Fighting Technician

Location:

Qatar

Maintenance / Safety / MEP

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, test, and maintain

fire alarm and fire fighting systems

(sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, extinguishers, pumps, etc.). Conduct regular

preventive and corrective maintenance

on fire suppression equipment. Troubleshoot system faults and ensure

operational readiness

of all fire safety systems. Perform

pressure testing

,

flow testing

, and calibration of fire pumps and alarm systems. Ensure compliance with

NFPA standards

and local fire codes. Support in

emergency drills

, and assist safety officers in ensuring fire safety across facilities. Record and report maintenance activities, inspection results, and corrective actions. Coordinate with contractors and safety departments for system upgrades or modifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire & Safety Engineering. Minimum

2-3 years of experience

in fire fighting system installation and maintenance. Knowledge of

FM200, CO?, Foam, and Water Mist systems

preferred. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Good communication and teamwork skills.
