Job Description

:

The Fire BIM Modeller is responsible for developing detailed

3D fire protection models

and

2D drawings

using BIM tools such as Revit MEP, ensuring coordination with other building services and adherence to project standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update

3D models of fire protection systems

(sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire alarm devices, etc.) in

Revit MEP

. Prepare

layout drawings, schematics, and details

from the BIM model. Coordinate with

mechanical, electrical, and plumbing

modellers for

clash detection and resolution

. Generate

shop drawings, quantity take-offs (BOQ), and schedules

from models. Ensure compliance with

NFPA / BS / NBC

and project-specific standards. Participate in

BIM coordination meetings

and assist in maintaining the

BIM Execution Plan (BEP)

. Work with

BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud

for file sharing and collaboration. Support engineers in reviewing designs and implementing design changes. Maintain proper

naming conventions, model versioning, and documentation

as per company BIM standards.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in

Revit MEP

,

AutoCAD

, and

Navisworks Manage

. Strong understanding of

fire protection systems

(wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire alarm, and detection). Knowledge of

BIM standards (LOD, BEP, ISO 19650)

. Ability to read and interpret

MEP and architectural drawings

. Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills. Familiarity with

BIM 360 / ACC

platforms.

Preferred:

Experience in

commercial, industrial, or high-rise building projects

. Knowledge of

CFD fire modelling (FDS, PyroSim)

is an advantage. Exposure to

international projects (Gulf / UK / US)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
