Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install and commission fire alarm systems as per approved drawings and specifications. Conduct periodic inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems. Diagnose system faults, troubleshoot, and repair defective components or wiring. Perform functional testing of detectors, control panels, manual call points, sounders, and strobes. Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and inspection documentation. Ensure systems comply with NFPA, NBC, and other applicable local fire safety standards. Coordinate with clients, engineers, and contractors during installation or maintenance activities. Replace or upgrade outdated system components as required. Conduct loop testing, system programming, and address configuration of devices. Respond to emergency breakdown calls and ensure minimal system downtime. Ensure all work is performed safely and with proper use of PPE. Assist in training building staff on fire alarm system operations when required.
