Job Overview

To ensure that all garments are

properly finished, ironed, inspected, packed, and ready for shipment

as per buyer quality standards and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Garment Finishing

Supervise all

finishing activities

-- thread cutting, trimming, ironing/pressing, tagging, folding, and packing.

2. Quality Inspection

Conduct

inline and final inspections

of finished garments. Identify and segregate defective pieces for repair or replacement. Coordinate with the

quality control (QC) team

to maintain AQL standards.

3. Packing & Documentation

Ensure correct

packing methods, polybag labeling, barcoding, size ratios

, and carton markings. Verify that

packing lists

and

shipment documents

match the buyer's packing instructions. Allocate work to

finishers, pressers, folders, and packers

according to production targets. Train staff on

handling garments carefully

and using finishing equipment safely. Monitor worker performance and maintain discipline on the floor.

Key Skills & Competencies

. Basic computer knowledge (for reports and tracking). Report

to the production head. Keep

finishing stock registers

updated (finished vs. pending pieces).
